The
tippler-fancier:
In 1997, I started with the flying tippler sport. Also I became then member of the NVC (Dutch Flying Tippler Club). A fascinating sport for the real pigeon-fancier.
I have read frequently the results of the contests in the illustrated magazine Avicultura in our local library.
At the tipplersport are no large financial expenditure comes at just in comparison with the mail-pigeon sport. My first tipplers I got from Piet van der Werf, Henk Webbink and Steven Knobbout.
It were red and black Sheffields tipplers. Later I also get blue and blue badge Irish tipplers from Piet van der Werf. He is at the moment owner of the world record young tipplers! His kit flew 20.01 Hours. Amazing, isn’t it? They are all import tipplers from Harry Shannon and Hugh Coulter from Ireland.
At this moment I have only the Irish tipplers on my loft.
When I have started with the tipplers I couldn’t believe that they could fly 10 hours or longer! It was unbelievable for me that they can do that! It’s a beautiful view to take a look at your team on a sunny day.
Much pleasure by reading my website!
